About the NFBA

The National Frame Building Association’s (NFBA) mission is to advance the post-frame building industry.
NFBA is the only national trade association that represents post-frame industry professionals. The association is the country’s primary source of post-frame building resources, research, networking, news and education.

NFBA is a non-profit trade association that promotes the interests of the post-frame construction industry and its member professionals throughout the United States. The association’s members are primarily post-frame builders, suppliers, manufacturers, building material dealers, code and design professionals, and structural engineers.

NFBA member companies provide services or materials to a variety of building types including agricultural (equestrian stables, barns), commercial (retail stores, strip malls), industrial (warehouses, storage facilities), public (firehouses, medical clinics), institutional (schools, churches), residential and remodeling projects.
There are over 1,200 NFBA members who are based in all regions of the country.  NFBA unifies all members in the spirit of colleagueship and friendly competition. NFBA members share the same passion for their trade and the wood building industry, and thus the NFBA brings the community together.
NFBA supports its members’ businesses by listing their company description and contact information on NFBA.org’s “Find a Builder,” “Find a Supplier” and “Find a Designer” search engine for prospective clients.

The association exists to support its members and stimulate the growth of the post-frame industry. To do so, the association helps its members by providing industry tools and resources, access to technical and legal experts, builder accreditation programs, newsletters and industry alerts, and networking opportunities.
The Heartland Chapter exists to serve the members in the Heartland of America.  We bring the information from the national show, to our annual, regional show.  We give local builders a chance to network together to grow their business.
